juliana is four

Well, yesterday was Juliana's 4th birthday! It was such a busy day! She and her sisters went shopping with Grammie!! I got to finish up some paperwork related to her completed lawsuit.
We watched Isabel play soccer, then we made dinner, had cake and opened presents.
I can't believe that four years have gone by. In some ways it feels like yesterday...and in others, she just seems so big.
I have to say, that time heals a lot of the wounds. I was incredibly emotional for the first 3 years...this year was not so bad. No tears, just enjoyment! I just had a fabulous time watching her open her gifts!
Juliana has become a wonderful, thoughtful, talkative, funny, interested and interesting little girl. I don't have to see her for what she can NOT do, but I can see her for what she CAN do.
She has made me a better person.
For those of you who are new here (and there are way too many of you...awareness....) and it all seems so overwhelming, know that there is a light on this journey.
So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JULIANA! I couldn't love you more.
