I forgot about getting clothes that are bigger!
okay for the mod quad.. 2 sizes bigger? pants too or just tops?
and what about the weather in Texas in October? Will he need a coat down there? maybe just a fleece?
As the surgery date grows nearer, my stomach turns and my head is getting ready to explode.
What about the weather?

Kara - I fully understand the pre surgery angst...it really affects us so terribly. Come to chat on Wednesady nights - our priority there is to support moms who are pre-post surgery. http://www.injurednewborn.com/chatroom.html 10 pm est
The clothes can be 1-2 sizes bigger - just get some t-shirts that he'll grow into for next year. just tops - no pants - the regular pants will be fine - the splint just goes to the waist. I have pictures of the splints on my site - check these pages:

you can follow the weather online... Maia had the majority of her surgeries in December and it was really funny weather then... on the day we arrived one time it was 90 degrees and the rest of the week it was 40's!! I would think that October would still be warm - and I don't know where you live - but where we are (in PA) it's fleece weather. You'll be in the hospital for 2 days so it won't matter too much anyway. Don't forget a car seat though. And did you plan on your way to the hotel?
