Hey, how's Maia doing post op? I was away on break and just got back, wondering how she's holding up after everything and how the holidays went.

Hi Carrie - thanks so much for asking about Maia!

The best thing I can tell you is that we are counting down - of course we have a long way to go and we take one day at a time. We go moment to moment. She still has as lot of anger and a lot of pent-up energy and she really needs to express it. I also get whacked a lot with the splint - had no idea how much of a weapon it could be!! I'm updating her website journal area so in a couple of days, the details will be there.
