Headaches?

Post by Mindy »

Has anyone suffered from headaches after there TBPI? I get headaches that make migraines look like a walk in the park. My can last for almost a week at a time and are beyond words... The doctors I have seen have no clue what can cause this kind of headache. If you do suffer from these I would like to know what kind of treatments are available.
Thank you and God bless.

Hello Mindy,

I have always suffered from headaches. After my accident they went into migraines. I call them migraines because I don't know what else to call them! Your head feels like it is in a vice, sick stomach, light sensitivity, and last for days.

My BP doctor warned me about the headaches. I take migraine medicine for mine. It does and doesn't work. Of course that seems typical with this injury. Check with your primary about migraine meds. There are a lot of studies going on where you can get free meds for the length of the study. That way you can try the medicine free to see if it will work.

Hope this helps.

Mindy, I wonder if an alternative treatment called Cranio-Sacral Therapy would help your headaches. I think you might be able to find a local therapist by looking at www.upledger.com. I think it's worth a try - it's completely non-invasive and extremely relaxing. If you do try this, I'd love to know your results.
