With last year's Awareness, we started a pen pal matching service. Unfortunately, we only have two children that have signed up. I believe {but am not completely sure} that both children are boys and age 6 & 10 (different families).

Do you think any of your children would be interested in signing up for this? We'd love to see the 'middle aged' children get involved in this project. You can build lifetime friendships with pen pals!

I'm not sure if I explained it well enough...

we figured that it would be neat for kids to communicate with other kids with bpi's... to mentor and support each other, create new friendships, etc.

We didn't just think it would be for children though - there are many adults who may not have computers who might want to pen pal (pen and ink) with someone else, too.
