Hi Everyone,

I have noticed recently (just this past week) that Allison is starting to grab her RBPI arm with her left hand and bring her RBPI arm up to her mouth and bite on her fingers. I don't know if she is getting a little tingle sensation or if it is because she has no feeling at all. Has anyone experienced this before?

My daughter did the same thing. She actually bit her entire index fingernail off and kept biting over and over after that!

I took her to the neurologist and I never got a straight answer to why this was happening. (I've since changed Drs.) I believe she was getting a tingling sensation, which to me was a good thing. That indicated to me that her nerve growth was reaching her finger tips.

I decided to get "nail bite". It's a clear nail polish with an aweful bitter taste. She finally stopped biting. I'm not sure if was the yuck taste that made her stop or if the tingling stopped.
