I got a hotel room through Priceline, so it's already been paid for. However, we won't be going to picnic afterall, so we won't need the room. If anyone can use this, please email at joshua1@mrmicro.net and I'll give you the details. Thanks, and I hope y'all have fun!!

When is the room for? Friday night or Saturday night?
I am unable to go but thought the info might be helpful to someone else!

Sorry, I should have added that. The room is for Friday night, at the Fairfield Inn. Email if interested. Thanks!

FYI - The Ohio picnic will still be held the 19th but Dr. Shenaq will not be in Columbus that day; he is ill. Hopefully we'll reschedule in the next month or so. All families are still welcome to attend our gathering. We're planning some fun activities for the kids!

Oh Karen - sorry to hear about Dr. Shenaq. I hope that you get a huge turnout - you put so much effort into your events - we've always had so much fun at them. This will be a true test of the value of a bpi gathering and I hope people come for the value of "community" whether or not a doctor is there.

Have a great time. We'll be thinking about you in spirit!

I want to publicly apologize to Tricia... when I wrote what I did I did not intend to point a finger at Tricia... absolutely not. I had no idea why Tricia could not use her hotel room - NOR did I know until reading Karen's post that Dr. S wasn't going to come... I was reacting to Karen's post and as a picnic coordinator myself - knowing how much work goes into a picnic and especially how much work Karen puts into it, I was feeling really bad for Karen. The history shows that when there's a doctor everyone shows up and when there's no doctor very few show up. And I was hoping that that wouldn't happen to this picnic. It's really important for kids to meet other kids just like them, and for parents to meet and network as well.

So, Tricia, I hope that you will accept my apology - honestly, I didn't point what I said at you.
