Need your help!!!!

Okay, I need everyone to sign a petition. I am pitching a show for any network for Special Needs kids...I have it copyrighted with the WGA. That doesn't mean someone couldn't still steal my idea.
I am planning on hosting a t.v. show on TLC or any other network that will have me. I want to find cures for disabilities, especially our kids with bpi!!!!!!
They have these shows of people having babies, having weddings, getting makeovers. But, now it's our turn!!
So, I would like to get several petitions started. Even if that means volunteers go to their local grocery
stores and set up a table and gather signatures.
Who's with me!!!!!!!
Just so you know, I have been acting for years. I just did a movie with Andy Dick and some other big names.
It won't come out until 2004. I had a small part, but it's something. Anyway, please contact me asap, so I can get your name and phone number. I'd love to have someone from each picnic getting signatures as well.
If I could get signatures, that would be awesome. Actually, I'm thinking about going into several doctors offices and asking if I can leave a petition for patients to sign.
Thanks for your help!! This show will talk about a certain disabilty, injury, disease, or ailment of a child. Then, I will have doctors interviewed, possibly follow children through a surgery, do updates, but most of all offer information to parents out there who don't know where to turn. Hopefully, this will help fund many hospitals/doctors to come up with cures!!!!
God Bless!

My target time frame is for this fall. Can you imagine? A show that will each day talk about a different disability of a child and try to find solutions for our children. Together we can find a cure!

I think having awareness about special needs kids is a wonderful idea. Thank you. But I am confused about how we are going to find a "cure" for the OBPI unless you speak of teaching each and every single Dr. midwife, resident--you get the picture-on how to not injure another child. We were fortunate enough to find surgical intervention but I have never been under the impression that it was going to "cure" her injury. Perhaps that is coming out wrong or across a way I don't really mean it to but I cannot think of a diplomatic was of saying what I feel. Not today at least. BUT, I do agree that a show would be terrific and thanks again! Hopefully I will see the petition in a couple of weeks in Ohio.

Hi Christy,
I personally will never give up hope for a cure for stretched, avulsed, paralyzed nerves. I am praying that a cure is just around the corner. Did you read the research about using nasal cells and injecting them in the spine?...Someone recently put up a website with information on this subject.
I totally agree with you about starting with prevention! But, we have doctors who don't feel like they did anything wrong even when they admit that they think they broke your child's arm and have it X-rayed the same day! That's what happened in my case, and we still lost our suit.
Ofcourse, I will talk about every aspect I can about obstetrical brachial plexus injuries...which I hope will be my first show. And, ya better believe it when I say I will have an expert interviewed that will admit that a brachial plexus injury does occur by too much force/traction from the physician.
I encourage anyone who has a child with a challenge to rent "Lorenzo's Oil". Your head will ache from crying, but you will be impressed by what that child's parents did. I love it when the father said that he was just a simple man with a simple mind. Because, anything is possible. I will go to my death bed believing that statement. I won't give up. My daughter is 11! I will not give up on full recovery!
I welcome any feedback. The more feedback I have the more knowledgable I will be and will be able to help others. I plan on mentioning websites like this one and other sites that give information about the specific challenge.
Thanks for your thoughts!!!! I appreciate it!!!!
