Thanks for posting this information. My son has a Tbpi and we live in Australia. Just wondering if you know where the trials are being done here.
I will try to contact the Uni inLondon and see if they can give ne the information.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/610528.stm this one is actually about peripheral nerves (ie bpi) and theres a 'realplayer' thing in the top right hand corner saying 'watch/listen' re this story where you can see and hear some of the RNOH staff inluding Thomas Carlstedt talking about how this work will be used for all bpi including babies.....exciting stuff! Its good that these guys don't just try and 'fix' existing tbpi, they are aware of the limitations of the surgery currently available (which hasn't changed much in the 23 years I've been a tbpi) and are looking 'outside the square' for the future. Here's hoping that bpi won't be so much of a problem in years to come...
