To the parent that are dealing with schools and a child with Erbs
It is hard enough to deal with Erbs as a child.Iam 51 now and when I was a child I was called stud arm I have Erbs in my left arm.I grew up I became a Master Diver and Drive a semi for over 20yrs and still have to deal with my ERBS .But at the time I felt very alone there was no other child at school in the 50,s my Mom didnt know how to help me ethere but she did her best as you are trying to now.I beleve the following A parent needs to talk to the teathers and explian the child limitions to began with and when there is a situation where two arms are need the teacher should give the child with erbs or any other child that has a disiblty some thing they can do and still be part of the group. The hards part in any disibity is finding things that you can do or try to do and not having to focus on the limition .but the great part for a child and the parent is when you can find things to do in play or work when this happens there will be joy and a gift of determiation will grow out of this to over come lifes challenges...GOD bless.
