Ps. About get back on motorcycling, I am, at the moment, with some legal problems, a stupid doc find some legislation (Portuguese) that gives no tolerances to arm injuries, helped by orto or moto adapts. Do you know how is in your country?

Hi Paulo!

In the UK it is considered discrimination if someone is able to operate a vehicle safely, even if they are injured, as long as it is adapted as necessary. So lots of us got back on bikes after BPI.

Like at www.nabd.org (adaption section)

Good luck with the getting back on your bike, maybe the guy who says you can't ride again is wrong? If you show you can operate the bike safely, surely you should be able to ride again? I know how much it means... good luck with that dude!

Hi Paulo,

when I had a medical check to get the car drive license, I asked docs about motorbikes or even sidecar, the answer is that in Italy you are not allowed to drive bikes or trikes with this kind of injuries.

.... yes Paolo the same with me, they think that all Latin people do not know how to drive, even with out injuries ! Here we paid for the bad drivers…
That does not happen in Germany and UK.

Hi Paulo, first off I put the wrong link in the other answer its;

http://www.nabd.org.uk/

sorry to hear the Portuguese authorities don't let you ride injured, the frustration must be immense!!

i got a dirt bike for now, they can't stop you riding on the dirt can they? (only if they can catch you!;O)

Same with you Paolo, I would've thought the Italian government would have allowed you to ride again? Really sorry dude. It's the same in Holland as one guy told us, it's NOT FAIR this lifestyle policing!!

If the UK authorities had this attitude I'd take em to the European court of human rights (if someone else paid!) because I'm sure you guys have a case for choice of transport and freedom of movement, just a thought?
