a question

Post by erica »

Hi All!
I know I have not posted in a while so I thought I would post a question and a little update.
First off my question,
For the past three days my little finger on my OBPI side has been in intense pain. It's this stinging pain that only goes away if I squeeze my finger really tight. Should I see my doctor about this? I'm already on a high dosage of medication that is dual for my depression and arm pain. I'm on 2700 mg. of Neurontin. I just don't know what to do. I could barely sleep last night.
Now for the update.
I see my plastic surgeon on the tenth. If the report from my GP was all right I will probably be heading for the pre-op clinic. But I have to see my plastic surgeon (Dr. Harrop) to make sure everything is going okay. Just to let you know what he is planning is to take a tendon from my lower arm and hook it up to the three fingers that don't work as well as they will be connected to a muscle in my wrist. I am greatly looking forward to this.
I am also going to be moving to a new city. I am just waiting for the o.k. and I will be off. It's a group home for my mental illness. I am also still trying to get on disability. They refused me because they said my arm did not limit the type of jobs I could get, so now we are trying for my mental illness.
Well thats about it. Talk to you again soon.
