Hello again!!
I am new to the website. I am 31 & have robpi. I have really enjoyed reading the previous posted comments. I have posted a few times.
I wanted to know if anybody elses shoulder feels like mine? My shoulder feels as though someone is sitting on it, weighing it down. I have seen my x-rays & they are something else. I know there is suppose to be a ball & socket there. Any suggestions?
Oh! I have found a doctor in Alabama that specializes in obpi. I can't get in to see him until the end of June. Hey, I have waited this long, what's a few more weeks. His name is Dr. Meyer.
Thanks!
Deanna

I am so happy you found a doctor nearby. I know the feeling after waiting so many years whats a few more months.
My shoulder feel heavy because it hangs and we do not seem to have the muscles to support the bone structure. I am not a doctor but that is how I see it.
My arm is heavy and sometimes when I am tired I see that I sit and prop my arm up on something and my shoulder feels relief. The PT I use suggested I place a pillow under my arm when I am sitting watching tv etc. he said it supports my shoulder and it give my arm a rest... I also find that it helps my neck on the left side I am right obpi...
Hope this helps
