Hi, My name is Larry Walker I am 35 and I belive I have Erbs palsy all I was ever told was that the doctor pulled my left arm at while I was being delivered. Went to a specialist for a while till I was in early grade school. My mother used to just say that I had pulled muscle in my left arm thats all I ever heard. Didn't know what to call it and that there were so many others were out there. Nice to find others. Thanks, Larry

Welcome Larry!
It is a wonderful thing to find out you are not alone. We have all learned so much from each other on this message board and still learning all the time.

Hello! I am 31 & also have Erb's Palsy in my right arm since birth. I just found this website about a week ago. It has been like a breath of fresh air to me. It is such a comfort to me there are others like me. My suggestion is to go & read some of the previous posted messages..boy oh boy I sure could relate to them. Good luck!!!

Welcome... It seem like all of us who find these message board are so excited to finally have people who truly understand. They share so much information to help us understand ourselves and our injury. We are experts at living with OBPI and compensating but we lack so much medical information. Welcome again.
When I found this board I discovered so many little thing I do are directly related to this injury.
Like holding things in my hand and not remembering they are there... or having people walk on my right side and bumping into them... And the thing I love the most is hitting my elbow on doorways... OUCH!...
Feel free to ask any and all questions that pop up nothing is silly... I know when I posted about holding my keys and tissues I felt silly but so happy when I found out we all do it... The remote hunt does not seem so bad now...
