Young teens 1st sugery at TCH

My daughter is 11 years old she is scheduled for a Mod Quad surgery in June. Her surgeon is Dr. Nath. How will she manage with the split when she gets home? How long will it take for her to get back to (bike riding, cheerleading, dancing etc...)? Our time is coming close and we have so many question. We would love to hear from someone who had been through this. How much PT was needed right after surgery and a year later.
