Back from France

Hello All,
Just checking in to let you all know that I am back from my trip to Paris to run/walk the Paris International Marathon on behalf of United Cerebral Palsy. Together our Arizona team raised $170,000.00 and it was an awesome day!
I had two Honorees that I did the race for, a little girl with cerebral palsy named Bridget Rose, and of course my son Ian (left bpi)! A friend that I ran the race with also had an Honoree, a little girl with multiple disabilities. At around the mile 20 mark we started talking about our Honorees, and that inspiration carried us over the finish line.
I feel truly blessed to be able to use my own physical abilities to help those less fortunate, and the entire experience has allowed me to truly appreciate what my family has been given in this life. My son was so proud of me (he loved being an Honoree!), and I am so proud of him!
Best wishes to all of you,
Bridget
