elbow dislocated?
While talking to Blake's ot, she was curious as to wether or not Blake's elbow is dislocated rather than a contracture? She said it seems to feel like more of a bone issue than a muscle...I told her that I would talk to TCH about this before his capsulodesis in January...any other people have this issue? Dr. Nath slightly discussed a contracture in August, more concerned with the shoulder...

TJ has dislocated his elbow in the past, but we have not had problems since his surgery last January. His water therapist a few weeks ago said it felt as if his elbow was dislocating again and we took him to see the ortho- the radial head is well in place and he felt it would be very odd that it had dislocated and gone back in so perfectly in place, he did however say that TJ has a slight contracture at the end range, now that he has started again with the "bent elbow" while walking (becaus of his current growth spurt) I'm hoping this growth spurt doesn't last, he's been making good progress so far.
