anyone from Wisconsin?

I was in the OBPI area and Francine suggested I come over here to see if anyone else is in or from Wisconsin. My son is 5 weeks old and has BPI in right arm. We were wondering if anyone knew of any specialists that they could recommend in the area. Or if there was any other information they could share about the area. Of course, if you're in the area and need to know others here, I would love to get to know people and I know Josiah would benefit so much from knowing others as well. So, please, don't be shy. Thanks so much, Sarah, Josiah's mom

There is a great group of doctors in a bpi clinic at Milwaukee's Childrens Hospital and are associated with the University. I think you would like them. It might be a great local resource. Though I always think it is important to get more than one opinion, at the important times any ways. Your baby is still very young. Good luck!

I'm from the other side of the state, near the Minnesota border. I replied to your other post, too, but here's the link to one of our area hospitals. Click on Programs/Services, then Brachial Plexus.

The phone number,e-mail, and fax number are no longer available for the National Brachial Plexus/Erb's Palsy Association.

erbspalsy@usa.net does however continued to be checked.

Gayle, you made me so happy! I guess the prospect of meeting someone to talk to is just so great. You never think you're going to be in a situation like this and when you find others in the boat with you, the ride doesn't seem so scary. Email me if you can and maybe we can try to set something up. I'm originally from Southern California and this is my first winter here. I know it's pretty mild but I don't know how long this stuff lasts. xenithjlf@msn.com Excited to hear back from you! Sarah

There is a Milwauke Brachial Plexus Support Group. It used to be run by Stephine Schultz. You can reach her at 262-970-9721

I think they meet monthly.
