Thanks Francine, I'm looking for more papers by Dr Kline, this list goes on forever....I knew he had an interest in tbpi but I had no idea he'd been in this field so long, 40 years of experience! He must be one of the US surgeons who started looking at tbpi after Vietnam. Thanks again, great info :0)

My son Errett was hurt in football in oct 1997, had surgery with Kline and Tiel, in New Orleans,La
he has full recovery ,
his was right C-5 and C-6
had surgery in april 1998 and had full recovery by feb 2001 and released from Doctors,
but they did ask him if he was ever in New Orleans to drop by and say Hi! and we send them picture of Errett
every year showing him playing golf, goofing off with his brother, and holding one of his friends baby.
in our Books they are the Best, and if we had to go through the injury all over we would go back in a heart beat.

Been going to Dr. Kline not (Klien) for 10 years he is at LSU Medical center in New Orleans. Probably the nicest man I ever met. He's answered any question I ever had without all trying to confuse me with big medical terms. Just seen him in May probably for last time. I have found numerous pages about him just by typing his name into a search engine. Good luck.

My son had surgery last November by him. He is the most gentle man and the surgery appears to have been a success, to what extent, it is to early to know. My son has begun to get some movement back already, just 6 months post op.
