If you look at the full size image, follow the straight coastline down to the volcanic outcrop and into the first inlet where there's a port visible. We live directly on the other side of the hills next to the port, there's a green valley you can see with a few houses in it. Kath's right, that's where I go riding :0)
It's a beautiful part of the world and the sea really is that colour, no photo enhancement there.

ps that port is one you visit if you go on a Pacific cruise that takes in NZ. I meet lots of Americans day tripping from cruises. If any of you do this, pop in for a cuppa tea!
