Hi Lyn,
Whether your friends damage is permanent or not will depend on where the nerve is damaged and how long ago it was. It might be difficult to find a specialist who would stick his neck out and say 'Nothing more can be done' because if there is any nerve activity in there at all there's always someone who will offer to do something!
So sorry about your husband Lyn, I do think of you (my mother is very ill) and hope you are managing to cope with this. We miss you around here, take care and may you have strength for this difficult time.
Regards Jen NZ

HI LYN,
I AM NEW, BUT AS TO YOUR FREIND, I TO THINK IT IS GOING TO BE VERY HARD TO GET A DR. TO SAY THAT NOTHING CAN BE DONE.HAS YOUR FREIND THOUGHT ABOUT REPAIRING WHAT HAS BEEN DONE? I AM SURE SOMEONE LIKE DR. KLINE COULD DO WONDERS. YOUR FREIND MAY JUST BE TIRED OF THE OPERATIONS NOT SURE WHAT ANGLE HE IS LOOKING FOR. SORRY I WAS NOT MUCH HELP AND ALSO STAY STRONG.
