anna (19 months) is five weeks post mod quad, she came out of her splint a week ago today. today was the first day she went the entire day with out her splint except at nap time.. I noticed today her waiters tip in her hand is more pronounced now then it was before surgery and she isnt really using her arm when playing.. is this typical for post mod quad?? she looks so fragile in the way she walks & carries her self now.. every so often she lets out little whimpers and almost cries during the day, they last a minute or two and she goes on with what ever it is she is doing..
i give her tylenol or motrin right before removing brace in the morning.. bless her heart shes my little gift from God.. any thoughts or words of wisdom greatly appreciated!!
