I sent you all emails but just in case you don't receive them - here is the info

We are now using the new logic for login membernames.

We decided the the alias membernames were useless and causing problems. So it was decided to change our membernames to this new format:

YournameChildsnameChildsage

so mine would be

FranMaia3

(no spaces)

this way we all know who we are talking to and also the child's info and age... makes sense

So here's the catch. You can't just change your member name. So I deleted all of you. YOu will have to come on as new members - you may even have to use a different email address (not too sure about this because I did delete you all)...and just follow the structure of the membername above when you create your new member name.

Also - I wanted to let you know that you can always get on that system and create your own chat room easily and talk to someone on line- anytime day or night.

It was really nice - the other night someone emailed me and asked me if I wanted to chat with them and we did and it was wonderful (and saved the phone bill some).

So feel free to use the chat room and set up a new named one if you wish.

Wednesday night will be a chat with a chiroprctor who has obpi children for patients...come with your questions.

see you there,
francine

What happens when your child's age changes? Do you need to change your membername every year? That would be a pain since you need to then sign up for a new hotmail account. Just a thought.

age is not a big deal - it's just nice for everyone ot know if your child is an infant - middle child years - teenager, etc. We can change it once every 3 years or so..that's not so bad...it's just so much easier to see it up front and know if you have an infant or a teenager...

and if I find a different kind of chat that allows you to easily and freely change your membername...(which should be the case anyway) then we'll move over there... it's not like it's a permanent thing... or if you know of one - let me know ok?

and maybe somebody nice will donate chat software that has all these features??? anybody know any techies out there interested in helping a bunch of moms?

:)

Louise

I am the youngest of 8 My Mom was either 43 or 45 when I was born... Only 5 of us survived but I had three brothers and a sister and my Uncle lived on the next street with 8 boys all older then I.... soooo

I needed a sense of humor and had to out wit all the older ones they drove me crazy...LOL.. they were much older...

And yes, my mother had a great deal of patience ... she had to I was not easy ... she said a chair and my fanny only had passing acquaintance... I was super active But I was her best teenager so there is hope for all the parents of stubborn persistent bpi kids. I was one busy kid. Everyone thought she was my grandmother... Only I got mad when they asked that... LOL I thought she look so young...

I had my last baby at 32 and he is my third yikes next year my baby is 30...

I had three teenage children at one time I really needed a sense of humor to survive...teenagers are fun if you have a sense of humor and if not...well just give up!!!

See you in Chat if Francine lets me in... I have been pestering her a lot lately...

Louise - I get the same flack...I'm 42... My husband is 37 and he looks like he's 30 or less, so they think he is my son! So when all 4 of us are together.... they think that I'm the gramma and Lou and Adena are the parents and Maia is their baby. (Adena is my 20 year old)

Whatever they want to think is fine with me.....
