biceps lenghtening problem

Hello,
I am a mother of Kamil, who has Erb’s and Klumpke’s injury. We are from Poland.
My son Kamil had the third surgery – biceps lengthening and shoulder capsulodesis at TCH in October 2002. Now he is almost 4 year old. After the surgery my son wore on arm extension splint for 10 weeks. He had his splint taken off over 3 weeks ago ,now his elbow has only a slight passive and active motion. I am afraid about his elbow contractures.
I was wondering if somebody could give me some advice because I am
very worried about his condition.

Best regards,
Beata

Beata - I would highly suggest that you send a video tape to your surgeon so that he can give you an immediate opinion of what to do and what is going on.

here's the address...

I hope everything is ok.

Beata - I looked at your site and although I don't know Polish, it wasn't hard figuring out what was what. It is a beautiful site. I looked at all the pictures - the children are beautiful but it is sad. So many children are injured.

Thank you for putting up such a beautiful site to help those families in your country!

Happy Holidays - I do hope all is well with your little one,
