Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've posted a message feels good to be back! My son had the mod quad in Houston on 10/16. We were told that he needs to start electric stimulation to his muscles, but we can't find the machine! His therapist that he has now has never had any training with the e-stim, nor does the office provide one. Does anyone know where I can get one or contact someone? All info is much appreciated! Thanks!

Which hospital protocol are you following? Some hospitals use e-stim; others use TES. There are differences between the two. We use TES therapy which is a unit worn at night that does not cause muscle contractions, but rather sends electrical impulses to muscles near the electrodes in order to migrate growth hormone secreted by the body at night to the weaker muscles, thus increasing muscle bulk. The only FDA approved machine is from Mayatek. Their machine must be purchased using a certified TES therapist as a reference. They can give you someone to go to if you call them. Their number is 1-80-351-0016. Another contact is Wing Lam at 1-877-827-2242.
There website is
