I live in the SF Bay area. We see a doctor at Standford Medical Center. But there is a Kaiser BPI specialist down in LA. I can't remember his name. I would love to help you in anyway I can. Fill free to e-mail me. Also, check out my website
http://www.calebsjourney.anderson-clan.org for more information that might be helpful to you because you are in California.
Love,
Kari

I am so sorry to hear this. Our daughter was sent home from the hospital without us being told that she had a problem. The couple of days we were in the hospital I didn't notice because they had her swaddeled up tight. I was changing her diaper and she threw a fit. her left arm hung limp at ther side. I freaked out, I thought she had a stroke! It took a great deal of insistance to get her to a neuroligist and into therpay. We will be praying for you and your family. I just want you to know that you are not alone in not being informed right away. It is not your fault. They do pedeatric exams in the hospital for a reason and any ped. worth his salt should catch this. It is like BPI is a "dirty little secret" that no one in the medical community wants to talk about.
