Any Success With CBD?

Post by IanCLE »

It has been suggested that I try CBD orally or topically to suppress the left arm pain. Has anyone had any success with it and if so, which have you found to be best?

The same was suggested here, but I haven't tried it yet and will soon.

I'm going to try the oral ingestion since I'd assume applying topically would not be effective on area specific sensations (burning focused in hand) as my nerves where avulsed (torn out of spine) and the neuropain is being generated at the areas of avulsion on the spinal cord and brain's perception of a nonfunctioning limb.

Years ago I did try ketamine ointment topically to no real benefit. I wore a glove over the ointment so the ketamine would penetrate more fully. The idea was that I would build up a low level of ketamine in the bloodstream and it would effect me systemically instead of locally at the area of application.

Here are a list of studies using CBD for neuropain.

Good luck and keep us posted and I'll do the same.
