Hi All:

My name is Tony (ASC), and I was born into this world by OBPI. My delivery Doctor in 1959 hyper-extended my right arm by pulling on it. Thus, causing Erb's Palsy. When I was about 8 years old, I went through an experimental forearm and elbow rotation to increase the use of my arm. I'm happy to say that it worked. I have better range of motion, decreased pain, and good tone of the muscles. Of course, I need to continue exercises and light weightlifting. I have adapted through the years finding alternate ways to do everyday tasks. However, I still have some limitations...throwing a baseball, powerlifting, and writing. I can raise my arm over my head my rotation the trunk of my body. My injury actually gave me some valuable skills in many other aspects in my life. I don't do the pity-party. I live my life!

Sincerely,
Tony (ASC)
