Muscle and nerve transfer to hand

Post by troy »

Hi All,

Has anyone had any luck with a nerve and muscle transfer to hand and wondering what the results were.

My blood supply is really bad so may need to graft a blood supply as well. Prob looking at muscle on inner thigh and nerve from ribs.

My son has all 5 nerves avulsed last year. He had muscle transferred from thigh and nerves flipped over from chest at mayo clinic in Rochester MN 13 months ago. He is getting a some movement, but not much! Everyone heals in their own time! Try the 'Brachial Plexus' Facebook page. There's usually a quicker response! It's just another great resource!
