BPI Doctor for adult

I have a 23 year old daughter who sustained a right arm BP injury at birth. She has had a modquad and a rotation osteotomy of her humerus.

I am wondering if the group could share with me what kind of doctor is best to follow her injury as she ages. Ortho? Neuro?
Very hard to find an adult BPI doctor and she has outgrown her pediatric specialist.

Thank you for any thoughts you may have.

Hi,

I would post this question in the OBPN or the general forums. You will get a much more informed response from parents who have children injured at birth as well as some young adults injured at birth. Most of us on these boards are people injured later in life and the surgeries done on us are different and the Dr's are different.

Best of luck with for your daughter and possible surgeries.

I find the question on a doctor to see very interesting
Would a doctor treating a later in life injury be able to treat a birth injury to  Some do by others who post on forums ;)
I have read and responded to many and seen ware there is a lot of post. Ware there were doctors who do help both :D
The puzzling thing is when a person, is not a child any more who better to ask about a possible doctor by lack of there doctor not be able to give a reffeal to them . Sometime it is one fourm and sometime other forums to ;)
I seen ware by post on the Adult forum ware amazing things have happen by doctors , when by Quest you find one
Really ,the more we can share on these forums the better the awareness we can share a possible direction to try in the quest to find that doctor in time, no matter when these injuries happen ;) :D
The blame is on the doctor who do not choose to give a referral in time at birth or leaving a emergency room it is ,  How do doctors, not know there are web sights like this or doctors to re-feral us to , Is this this negligence in the world of seeing a doctor in time or other treatment and doctors who ref-feral could happen  on sights like this ??? Sometime the best thing , is when you can find help on these forum, seen this happen to by post ;)
I think  ;)
Thanks, Jmar ;)
