Best BPI hospital regardless of ability to pay!!!

I just thought that I should notify the parents on here about Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We are your typical middle class family. Not poor, but certainly not rich. When we found out our daughter had a bpi injury, we, like every parent, only wanted our baby to see the very best doctor for her specific injury. We were also worried....we are from Wisconsin and with all the research I have done, I concluded that the very best care for my daughter would be in the hands of dr kozin and his team in Philly, PA. We were terrified about how to pay for it, how to pay for the flight out there, the hotels, the food, the procedures themselves!!! While you always want the very best for your child, sometimes money can stand in the way. NOT with this hospital!!! Since dr kozin works at a shriners hospital, your local shrine temple can help you with so much. Travel to PA, travel to the hospital (cabs!!), lodging and food!!! They typically pay for one parent and the child, but every temple is different. And the hospital itself....while they may send you an inital bill, they DO NOT follow up with threats of lawsuits, or even more bills if you do not pay. I know this for a fact!!! Even if you are out of network, or have no insurance at ALL, THEY WILL NOT MAKE YOU PAY! This hospital, the whole Shriners organization, actually care about YOUR KIDS!!! If you can pay, great!! If not thats ok too and you still get the best care in the world for your child. I posted this because I want parents to be able to do the best for their kids, to be able to get second opinions if needed, without worrying about cost. You should be able to feel comfortable in the care that your child is receiving, and believe me when I say that this hospital will not disappoint you. They want to help your children, regardless of your ability to pay
