College Scholarships

My daughter is 17 and about to graduate from High School. Last year we found and printed a Brachial Plexus Palsy Foundation Scholarship Application. The form stated you had to be accepted to the college of choice before submitting. We are ready to submit, but I am having a hard time finding this information still online. Do you know if the scholarship still exists?

Do you know of any other scholarships for BPI students?
Your help is appreciated.

I believe that Scholarship fund is administered by Francine Litz/or Fitz(I've blanked momentarily. :(

Other Education monies can be applied for at your local State Office of the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation[DVR, or some states call it Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation- BVR]. Each State dispurses funding differently and there may be a waiting list so apply there ASAP.

I sent my application for that scholarship in 2010 when I was applying to college and never got a response! I couldn't find any contact information either.

I believe that the organization that sponsored that program closed it doors in December 2012. The non profit doesn't exist anymore

There's always an option of contacting your local OVR (Office of Vocational Rehabilitation), they sometimes offer grants for college for those with disabilities. I didn't get all that much from them, but every little bit helps, and they also gave me a summer employment opportunity as well.
