You know I go way back like Carolyn does to, with forms of the injury. I have been seeing a few post ware Carolyn likes to use a small rubber to
I learn about squeezing a small rubber ball to help for improving finger movement and grasp.
I started squeezing a small ball when Easter Seals therapy in the Early 60s, gave me one to squeeze for therapy.
I had very limited grasp to start and over the years I started with a toy little rubber ball I did end up to squeezing a racket ball. This sure work for grasp OVER Time
I started just holding it with my cup hand. I really was not grasping it, I just left it there holding walking sitting, ETC. The ball is Great just to Un claw to and its Like worry beads , it great for Stress To .
Carolyn learned about this ball use before me to but it was out there then , I wonder if that was a standard back then???? , I like when she responds and uses how she used the ball to, Her way for years
Looking back , This I learned overtime about using the ball , When I was little I had like no finger movement. When I just walk around during the day, I real was not grasping the ball. I was just holding it in my Cup hand that held it WERID To.
I just keep trying to use my fingers and in time I end up with a grasp Overtime with,Enough Grasp to hold on to a Semi Steering wheel for 25 years with Safe semi driving for 25 to with Birth erbs . ACt of God, I am Sure
Trying To use a small rubber ball to gain strength and grasp, AND stress If you have a cup hand ,odds are the cup hand will hold the ball I Hope
Just Thinking?? I think using a small rubber ball may Help no matter when you got the forms and alphabet of our injuries
The ultimate way I found that I was gaining grasp overtime was falling asleep with the ball in hand it seem to fall out of my hand in sleep. But WirED is the first time I woke up with the ball Still in my hand end up holding that ball when I woke up grasping it Wired and True Oh , Carolyn, I hope she writes her experience to, Squeezing a ball was out there for years , Back then. Is a Ball a awareness that was not shared over Time , Just Thinking???
I will go with using a rubber ball May Of been a lost therapy or not , The ball is great on Trying to gain strength and Grasp over time, At 61, I still the ball to reliving stress and the terrible cramps of the Claw that Happen to by our Trys, (Us,) OUCH Things-!! Still get them good thing I have a ball to stretch my Figures, AW!!
Hope This helps some one ???
I know Mr positive You Bet Ok , I really like using the faces , then using period. Etc because it shows The spirit of what I am trying to say
I thought I would add, this to the apparel issue here ?? I have designed Dive Tee shirts years ago and I am wonder because, I know there is other artist Here ,who could do tee shirt design with there Art on Tees. I wonder ware you could put a UBPN logo on isome ware ?? I Know I got a few Dive shirts made using my Design and use ZAZZLE-Web Sight to print on my Tees. I made 6 Dive tees for only, doing small amounts cost about 20.00 a shirt with my dive design and art work on it.
