Not a good enough blood supply for lat dorsi transfer

Hello has anyone had this problem of not having a great blood supply for a lat dorsi transfer. I had a nerve transfer to bicep and shoulder with great results. The problem now that I want to do the lat dorsi transfer to the hand is that in the accident my main artery to the arm was servered. It branched off and that was enough for the survival of the arm. Recent tests show the branching off and the finger tip pressure was very close to the pressure in my good hand. The doc who has done the best job ever thinks that it will not be enough to support the muscle transfer. As anyone heard of any other options that I should consider.
