Hi guys, haven’t been here for a long while. Finally had a MRI after 3 & 1/2 years to see extent of damage to nerves. C4 & 5 has is avulsed and have a perineural root sleeve cyst on C7/T1 & T1/T2. I’m seeing a neurosurgeon on Monday to find out if he can help me regarding the cyst and nerves. Ive had been checking the net to find more info on this but not very successful. If anyone can help with any info it will be highly appreciated.

Hi Guys, was at Neurosurgeon yesterday. Said if he remove cyst it will have no efect on arm or pain. He did however say he can offer me a DREZ opperation for the pain. Well as I understand it the perineural root sleeve cyst is a sleeve around nerve and when it was injured the sleeve broke and the spinal fluid leaked out which caused the cyst. This is thus a clear indication that the roots were avulsed for the sleeve to brake. Wish you all well
