Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: Multiple left anterior shoulder dislocations, with a shoulder fusion beion done on 1st December 2011
My name is Annette and I'm posting from Australia. I'm hoping to speak and /or share stories with.. I have severe problems with my left shoulder causing multiple dislocations. So far the 4 attempts at fixing it surgically have only given me short term relief. I have a 12 year old special needs and 2 other children who are quite independant. i am scared about recovery and the long term effects but I know this is my last option.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: My son was born At Parrish Medical Center in Titusville,Fla.After becoming stuck in the birth canal A doctor(any doctor)was paged 911.Believe it or not There was NO Obgyn on staff to preform a delivery,so a midwife and one other nurse had to deliver my son.He suffered 2 torn nerves and came out lifeless... We see Dr.Grossman In Miami along with Dr.Price.He has had a nerve transfer in 2010,A round of botox and a recasting in 2011 and now we will having another round of botox in which we pray no cast will be needed.He is a smart handsome little boy who has come so far and everyday I feel he's improving!
What exactly is wrong with your shoulder has the doctors said??? My son had a few issues as well due to the muscles fussing around the shoulder blade and restricting use of it....
