LOBPI... Winged scapula advice? Experience? Surgery?
I am 19 with LOBPI within the past few years I have noticed my symptoms have began to worsen (severe back pain, arm weakening, loss of energy, worse scapulae winging). Has anyone has anyone had any surgery to fix the winged scapula? I live in SW Florida and every neurologist sends me to another neurologist or orthopedic surgeon. Now they want to send me to Mayo clinic. Does anyone have any experience with this.

When I was born, my mother's doctor was out of town. A doctor that would not perform c-sections was forced upon us. Being 10 lbs, my right shoulder got stuck under my mom's pubic bone. The doctor pulled me out by my head, which ripped/streched all the nerves in my neck and arm (So, OBPI).
I've had two surgeries at 9 months old, and 3 years old.
My mother suffered as well. She needed both brain surgery and a shunt--She still sufferes today.
My parents lost the court case due to a terrible jurey.
That's about it!
Hope I can find somebody my age to talk to :)

When I was three years old I had the mod quod done specifically for severe winging. My mom said it greatly improved after the surgery. However, some doctors are not too fond of it anymore.
I'm 15 now and have back pain sometimes. I go to therapy and get my back aligned 1-2 times a week. You cold possibly be getting pain from overcompensating and throwing your back out. Have you tried a chiropractor?
