What does it look like when bone is out of fossa?

Post by marymom »

I am assuming that is what everyone is talking about when they say their bone is out of socket, but is that right? Is it 'normal' for our children's head of the humerus? to dislocate from the glenoid fossa? Is that technically correct? and If so, whatexactly does that look like? Max is playing football (shoot me) -it has been his lifelong dream, (most of his 12 years) all of my kids, yes even the girls, played tackle and he is finally large enough to play- and he definately shows charicteristic erbs posture-
Also is there a difference between posture for those who have had surgical intervention?
Thanks, Mary
