Moving to Houston-Know of any Drs.

Post by bpiparent »

Hello Everyone,

My family is moving to Houston within the next couple of months and I have a 14 month old daughter with a Brachial Plexus injury to her left arm. She has had nerve graft surgery and will more than likely need many additional surgeries. I was wondering if any of you had any information about Dr's in the Houston area.

Thanks

Dr.Rauhl Nath- he is wonderful and located right in Houston. We travel from Cincinnati to Houston just because he is the only surgeon we trust. Best to you!

You should try Dr. Art Armenta. I believe he is on our website under Resources.

i never saw dr armenta. i live in s. indiana. but i did contact his office when i was having problems with my dr. the nurse there was extremely helpful to me. if it had not been for their help, i would still be without the treatment i am getting now. i actually go to dr Susan mackinnon in st.louis, MO. but i think dr armenta would also be a very good choice. dr mackinnon is only 180 miles away for me. compared to close to 900 miles to texas.

*dr mackinnon is NOT the dr i was having problems with. it was the dr that stretched my bp nerve and refused to do anything about it. Grrrrrrr. dr mackinnon is awesome

Thank you!!! We still have some time before we move and I am a little stressed about having to set up a new support system for my daughter. It is good to hear from people who have already dealt with the Dr's and their staff.

Thanks again
