DREZ Surgical Procedure

Has anyone had a DREZ (Dorsal Root Entry Zone Myelotomy) performed? I found this on the Washington University in St Louis School of Medicine Center for Nerve Injury & Paralysis website. I had an unsuccessful brachial plexus reconstruction surgery at Mayo's in January of 2008, so I am now looking for avenues to pursue to help me deal with this injury longterm.
