Attorney needs your expertise, please

Dear Moms and Dads: In representing many children with brachial plexus injuries, it's always my challenge to fully detail for defense lawyers and juries how this injury impacts a child's life. I hear from defense lawyers and from insurance claims adjustors that these kids are otherwise happy, playful and curious -- which is true, given how hard all of you work to give your kids the best lives possible. But there's a broad scope to a bpi which I try to capture on video-tape while my client plays, dresses, eats, etc. On Monday, I'm doing another such video-tape. I really want to get this right. Here's my request to you -- would you mind sharing as many tasks, toys or activities you know your child has trouble with that I can use during our videotaping? You would be helping a terrific little boy and I can't think of a better source other than your collective wisdom and experience. Thanks, Pamela Pantages

My daughter has a hard time feeding herself with her BPI arm, with or without utensils. Also, she has a very hard time dressing/undressing herself.
