Peroneal Nerve Injury

Post by atric »

Dear Sir,

I wanted to consult you regarding an injury of my mom due to a road accident on 17th November.

The following injury to the nerve of the left leg is detected:-

Peripherial nerve injury due to fracture of fibular neck below the knee of left leg. Tibial, sural and peroneal nerve neuropathis (as per NCV report)

Suggested treatment is Nerve grafting of Peroneal nerve (if not healed automatically) after 3 months

If anyone else have undergone similar kind of nerve grafting of peroneal nerve in India, Can you please suggest who is the best doctor in india to consult about this kind of nerve grafting.

Many thanks in advance

Regards,
Atri

Have you looked into Dr. Anil Ghanshyam Bhatia at Bombay university? You might also want to look into the the Joint Commission International for an accredited Healthcare Organiztion. You can find that information at www.jcrinc.com and click on international. this will give you information of all the hospitals that meet the Joint Commissions standards. From there you can find a doctor at a hospital that you like.
