Hi everyone. Has anyone heard about Duke University Medical Center? I'm scheduled to go there for my BPI. It's been four months since my accident and I can''t wait to be seen by a real specialist. Hope everyone is doind well. thank you.

I live close to Duke and was life flighted to UNC Chapel Hill after my accident 2 1/2 years ago. It was my understanding that Duke didn't have anyone that could do a nerve transfer for TBPI. I went to Dr. Li of Wake Forest University. He did an excellent job. The Mayo Clinic actually tried to hire him and he stayed at Wake Forest. He is an extremely capable surgeon.
