look i'm not trying to be a dick or hurt anyone's feelings but i'm still working and have pretty good insurance and Ican't afford the time or the money to fly to mayo in minnesota.I am not trying to make anyone mad .I just can't put my family into that much debt for the kind of results that i'm hearing about.Iam still working 40 hours a week and more if I can get it, and I would rather loose my arm than loose my house.I know you guys are going to get down on me about this but that's the way I feel about it. Hey,

Everyone here understands what your saying. Just the way your saying it may put some off.

I live in Canada so I have been lucky considering all my care and surgeries have not cost me a dime. I understand your situation is very tough. From speaking to others here alot of insurance down your way covers 80% of the procedures, drugs, etc but 0% of the doctors. Every policy is different.

Do you not get holiday time?

it is a personal decision each of us has had to make. if you have health coverage you will have less worry about money than if you do not have health insurance.

We had a problem with Mayo also because they will not take any form of Medicaid....but thankfully Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis is willing to work with your situation....they are a religious hospital and do not even check your insurance before your medical visit....which was a surprise cause that is the norm here in Florida. Unfortunatelly we were not as lucky as you and my husband had the job with insurance and he could not continue working...so we have had to drastically change our lifestyle and family has been helping us with travel and expenses for our 2 children...but I totally understand what you are saying.
