ACR or Osteotomy?
Re: ACR or Osteotomy?
Depending on how recently the TT was done, it may or may not have already included all or part of the ACR.
I would strongly suggest a second (or third)opinion. The majority of doctors who are performing the ACR (which itself is a minority because many surgeons don't/won't do it) would not do it on a teenage shoulder joint. I would get multiple opinions to out why they think that is a bad idea.

Re: ACR or Osteotomy?
My son has also had both surgeries, the TT was a failure, he is now 12 1/2. He was talking to me last night about his arm wanting to know if there was anything we could do to make it straight. I guess the only option left for his is the humeral osteotomy, but I hate to put him through that if it is going to fail too.
