The thesaurus might equate "disabled" with synonyms like "useless" and "mutilated," but ground-breaking paraplegic runner Aimee Mullins is out to redefine the word. Defying these associations, she hows how adversity -- in her case, being born without shinbones -- actually opens the door for human potential.

That has to be one of the most remarkable things I have ever watched. To any parent of a child with a BPI - please at least watch the last 5 minutes. My goodness - how incredibly important and inspiring that message is!

Suggestion to BOD: Could we get Aimee to come to Camp 2010 and inspire everyone there adults,parents, injured children, and Sibs??? She is an awesome speaker.

This is phenominal and yes the end is incredible. I watched some more of her talks on you tube. New moms and dads need to watch this as well -- the words used - wow --so powerful. I'm going to be watching some more later.... I put it on my facebook, too..... we need to spread this around.
