Hey Zack, more info is needed. What sort of movement, if any, do you have? Does your hand work at all? Have you seen a neurologist or a specialist in BPI? How far out from the accident are you? If you have not seen a specialist yet, I would say get to one asap especially if your accident was recent. The sooner they can do something the better. Very sorry to hear that this has happened, hopefully you will be a lucky one. JJ

hey zack i evulsed c5,c6,c7,c8,t1 my left arm september 09,i had a opearation in london, england where they took donor nerve from arm, cutt it into smaller pieces and implanted them into the spine, this type of opearation is rare and something they are developing them selves and has only been done a handfull of times so il keep people up to date on my recovery here,i was told at least 6months for any/if sort of feeling to start to come back.(they implanted c5,c6,c7,so i know i havent any hope of hand movement)

i too am thinking like you and wish there was something better,as its such a life changing experience and hard to accept, but at the moment there isnt a hell of a lot,but medicine is advancing so fast you never know whats around the corner.
Keep strong
