I would just like to say to everyone that I hope they get to enjoy time with their family and friends during this time of year. UBPN is wrapping up another year, and we have had alot of successes and are still working towards some other goals. This website is the face of UBPN and allows all of us to share our stories of struggles and success, much like a family would. I think the website upgrade is a good representation of the other things that we are working on, and like the website, we need the community input, feedback and individual efforts to be successful. I am pleased to see a few people contacting their congressmen to try and facilitate communication about awareness and tracking. With a little effort we could make this into a national endeavor. I am aware of three people in three states who are undertaking this!
Two things to look forward to in the new year is the Spotlight-ON PBS short documentary, and Camp 2010 in Missouri at Trout Lodge (YMCA). We will be communicating more about these in the near future!
Have a great holiday season as we wrap up a great 2009, but look forward with high expectations for a better 2010!!
Kindly,
Rich Looby
President UBPN

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from The Beaulieu Family in northern Maine!
As we say thanks for all of our "online friends" who have supported us in good times and in bad times during the past year...May the peace and joy that only our Lord Jesus Christ can give us, reign in your hearts. May the New Year be one of finding good results for all of our injured comrades in the brachial plexus world! May God bless and take care of all of your families...
