Hi folks. Happy safe holidays to everyone and your families.
I am kind of excited and bummed at the same time.
I'm in San Antonio for Christmas with my 11 year old son Patrick.
I just took him to see Avatar-3D(make sure you see the 3D version).
Awesome movie. Totally.
I met a young lady who works at the theater and guess what?
She is the first one 'of us' I have ever met. She was injured 7 years
ago in an accident. She has a lot of promise and I have a lot of faith.
She is excited at her progress and I am excited for her.
That's all the excitement from me for now.
Now the bummer...we are all here for the same reason and our numbers
just keep on increasing. It's not even like a person dies a baby is born.
We just keep on gathering. As long as we do,
welcome to the club nobody wants to join. We're so not glad you're here,
but we are. For each other.
So God bless us everyone.
Peace out
Scott

Very nice post. If we do have to deal with these injuries, and we do, we may as well be together. You are all in my thoughts and prayers for a happy holiday season.

During my dark days, and there have been many lately, I try to hang on to what I'm grateful for.... and one of the things I'm grateful for is that we're in "this" club and not "another club" that's way worse. In its own way this has been an incredible blessing for our family and for Maia as well.
Please have a very Happy Holiday.
