Does anyone have tips for putting on arm warmers? I started using them for cycling in the cold, but it's hard to get the arm warmer on my good arm using my affected arm. Also, any tips for keeping the warmer on my affected arm? My affected arm is, not surprisingly, smaller than my good arm, and the arm warmer tends to slide off my shoulder on that side.

Try wrapping it once around with faberaic that has velcrove. Its better than a ace so you dont cut off circulation. Maybe it will work for you , but it is what I use to.

So I figured a few things about about these!

To get the arm warmer on my good arm, I prop up my affected arm with the wall or a door frame, that way I have enough stability to pull the arm warmer up the good arm.

I also used safety pins to tighten up one of the sleeves for my affected arm.

I know I asked this question, but hopefully it'll help someone else out.

I am glad you told me how you would have to put it on I understand, I had a lot of problems getting it on I ask another semi to pull the warmer up . Ok then Heres what I ended up doing In the end. I had pockets put on the arms of my coat with velcroe the with and height of the hand warmer then sealed with the velcroe. I had the pockets put on the out side of the arms. Hope this will helps better?

Another idea is if you have OT ask for a sock donner...The OT will generally think these are used only for putting on socks however when I needed to wear compression sleeves on my good arm and couldnt pull them on with my bpi arm, my OT gave me a sock donner...I throw the sleeve on the sock donner and then put the handles in my door and slip my arm in the hole and the sleeve slides right on.
